There are organizations that I am involved with and I am passionate about the incredible research and work that they do.
I’ve learned I can make a difference, even in just a small way.

Bella Bowman Foundation
I am passionate about the Bella Bowman Foundation for all that they do to help kids battling cancer. Kim and Trey Bowman lost their daughter, Bella, in 2011. They tirelessly work to help children in my community. Ms. Kim helped me in so many ways – she styled my hair for pictures that I took before I started chemotherapy treatment and she helped me decide it was time to shave my head once I lost so much hair because of those treatments. But, more than that, she was my counselor, cheerleader, and friend. They are doing amazing work in the Baton Rouge community and Louisiana. My life and many kids’ lives are better because of Bella’s short life. Help me, help them.

St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital
Before May of 2018, St. Jude was just some hospital I had seen ads for on television or fliers on pizza boxes. It is truly the most unbelievable place filled with so much hope. I was part of a St. Jude clinical trial called HOD08 and I was the 85th person to enter the study. Today, I am 3 years cancer-free. Simply put, I am fine. St. Jude is the greatest place that you never want to have to be. Help me, help them.
